Huanghua Mega Bridge of Tianjin-Weifang High-Speed Railway Package 4

The continuous beam of package 4 of the Tianjin-Weifang High-speed Railway, which crosses the G338 National Highway, is located in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province. The span of the continuous beam is 32+48+32 meters and is constructed by the form traveler cantilever casting method.

The length of the swivel section is 46 meters, the swivel radius is 23 meters, and it weighs more than 2,900 tons. It needs to be swiveled counterclockwise by 77 degrees. This is the first swivel bridge in the entire package that adopt the cantilever casting and lower swivel construction methods.

• All the form traveler used for the continuous beam features fast design, quick completion of the complete set, and rapid assembly. From the shipment at the end of August to the removal of the form travelers at the beginning of October, it only took a little over two months. This not only saved a large amount of time for the project, but also reduced the procurement and usage costs.

• In order to improve the safety of the sling connection, the pin shaft is custom-machined with threads and is equipped with corresponding nuts, which have strong fastening force and good anti-detachment effect.

In this package, Toyou supplied cantilever form travelers for multiple continuous beams with varying spans, and all of them have been successfully constructed at present.
