Hongze-Jinhu Double-track Mega Bridge of the Nanjing-Huai'an Intercity Railway

The Hongze-Jinhu Double-track Mega Bridge of the Nanjing-Huai'an Intercity Railway is located in Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province. Among them, the continuous beam across the Sanhe section is one of the key and difficult projects of the Nanjing-Huai'an Intercity Railway.The width of the river channel from the north embankment of Sanhe to the south embankment in the crossing section is about 2.4 kilometers.A total of 8 continuous beams are arranged a continuous beam of 51+88+48m+2x(80+80)m T-frames +2x(68+128+68)m continuous rigid frames+2x(80+80) T-frames+60+100+60m continuous beam. TOYOU provided a total of 8 sets of form travelers for the cantilever casting construction of the continuous beams.

The continuous beam across the Sanhe section integrates water-based, high-altitude, and deep-water operations. The entire construction area is located in the flood discharge area of the Huaihe River. Moreover, the water area is broad and the wind speed is relatively high throughout the year. This sets higher requirements for the overall structure and manufacturing process of the form travelers.

TOYOU's form travelers feature a simple structure, clear force-bearing mechanisms, and a high overall structural stiffness. The entire process, from processing to delivery, is inspected to ensure product quality. The main structure is designed with standardized modules, making it easy to install and disassemble. Meanwhile, all necessary materials for product acceptance upon entry into the project site were fully prepared, and the form travelers passed the entry acceptance at one go, saving a great deal of time and effort for the project.

To ensure the smooth construction of the project, TOYOU provided professional and continuous on-site services, including dedicated personnl for tracking, pre-construction training, and on-site guidance at key links. At the same time, multiple safety inspections were carried out during the use of the form travelers to ensure the safe and smooth construction of the form travelers.

Upon completion of the project, it will enhance the layout of the intercity rail transit network in Jiangsu Province. This is of great significance for promoting the economic and social development of the Nanjing Metropolitan Area and the areas along the line in Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, and in facilitating the high-quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
