Weihe River Bridge Project

The Weihe River Bridge is located in Tianshui City, Gansu Province and crosses the Lanzhou-Lianyungang Railway. It is a control project of the Zhuanglang-Tianshui Expressway. The total length of the main bridge is 291.7m. It adopts a concrete continuous rigid frame with a span of 75+140+75m, with double decks and single piers, and is constructed by TOYOU's form traveler cantilever casting method.

The bridge adopts the construction process of first using the form traveler for cantilever casting and then performing planar rotation. The planar rotation angles of Pier No. 2 and Pier No. 3 in the clockwise direction are 58 degrees and 46.77 degrees respectively. The rotation weights are 20,000 tons and 22,000 tons respectively, and the maximum rotation height is 50.9m. Currently, it is the tallest rotating bridge in China and the rotation bridge with the largest tonnage in Gansu Province. At the same time, it is also the rotation bridge of the double-deck single-pier T-shaped steel structure continuous box girder with the largest span and weight in China.

In this project, TOYOU provided multiple sets of brackets and form travelers for the Weihe River Bridge. The two parties adopted a leasing cooperation method, which not only reduces the procurement cost of the project but also shortens the entire product cycle, reducing costs and increasing efficiency for project construction. At the same time, TOYOU provides professional and continuous on-site services to fully guarantee the construction progress of the project.

Upon completion of the Weihe River  Bridge of the Zhuanglang-Tianshui Expressway, it will play a crucial role in enhancing the national and Gansu Province expressway network, fully utilizing the overall and scale benefits of the highway network, and promoting the rapid economic development of the central and eastern regions of Gansu Province and the rapid development of the Guanzhong-Tianshui Economic Zone.
